Railfanning at Edmonds, WA on May 29, 2009

I decided to stick around Edmonds for about an hour and here's what I got. Train #1: Amtrak Cascades Train #516 arrived and departed Edmonds about 8 minutes late. Amtrak F40 NPCU 90251 is leading with a Beautiful and Smooth K5LA horn while AMTK P32-8BWH 505 was trailing. Also, if you have headphones or a good stereo set, you could hear a faint echo of the horn as the train was arriving. Train #2: A Hot BNSF Z Train with a nice Warbonnet highballs through Edmonds. BTW: As of May 29, 2009, We have a total of 2 P32-8BWHs (505, 509) and one Surfliner F59PHI (452) on the Cascades Service. Don't know when the Cascades Engines will be back, but it's interesting.
