Edmonds, WA on February 8 and 9, 2011

February 8, 2011 - 0:24 - Amtrak Cascades Train #513 departs Edmonds with AMTK 90278 controlling AMTK 465 South to Seattle and Portland. February 9, 2011 - 1:29 - The Maintenance of Way Gang puts on a great show heading northbound to do some work north of Edmonds thanks to Mark Gillings (youtube: bnsfmark) and Jason Babila (youtube: bnsfjay) for the shout out for me. 4:25 - Foreman Katrina Hall serves a Form B restriction to Amtrak Train #513 as the train is coming into Edmonds for a station stop. 7:00 - A Westbound BNSF Stack Train rolls through the Form B restriction at Edmonds. Me and Katrina were having a discussion in the background for those who want to know the chatter noise. 8:59 - Katrina gives out the Form B restriction to a 2 hour late Amtrak Empire Builder Train #7, who is about to make a station stop at Edmonds. AMTK 124 West was leading the train as this is the last station stop before finalizing at Seattle. 11:35 - After that, I moved locations from Railroad Ave. to Sunset Ave. to catch a Westbound Garbage Train. The train was speeding up after waiting for approval to go through the red flag. The accleration from the 2 Dash 9s caused such a stur that passerby want to see the action including the couple in the frame of the video. 14:20 - After the Garbage train clears out, there were 2 back-to-back Empty Grain Trains that went through Edmonds after the garbage train cleared out. After that, there was a reduction on train traffic, so I went home satisfied.
